Attorney Profile – Michelle C. Owen
Michelle C. Owen was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, spending the majority of her life there before beginning her studies at Texas A&M University. In 2019, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, cum laude. She then moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to pursue her legal education, graduating cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2024. Michelle was admitted to the Florida Bar Association in 2025.
Advocacy & Support to Vulnerable Families
During law school, Michelle gained hands-on legal experience as a student practitioner with the
Family Law Clinic, handling cases involving child custody, divorce, and guardianships. This
work sharpened her skills in legal research, client representation, and courtroom advocacy, while
also deepening her commitment to advocating for vulnerable families.
Michelle also earned Loyola’s Social Justice Certificate, concentrating on the legal needs of
underserved communities. This training broadened her understanding of systemic barriers that
many individuals face and reinforced her devotion to combining compassion with effective legal
strategy.
Personal Life
Outside of the legal field, Michelle enjoys playing and watching sports, discovering new
restaurants, and traveling. A trip to Florida sparked her love for the state’s people, scenery, and
cuisine, ultimately inspiring her to make the Sunshine State her home.
As she embarks on her professional career, Michelle is dedicated to helping families resolve their
legal matters with considerate guidance, steadfast advocacy, and the support necessary to
navigate life’s most challenging transitions
